ok, so...this is amusing I went clubbing at Shampoo on Wed night, got home and caught a few hours sleep before I was up again at like 7am to make sure I was all ready for Otakon..and of course managed to forget both the Chef Boyardee I wanted to take, as well as my PHONE CHARGER! (somehow it lasted until Saturday night)...

But anyways..Otakon kicked ass, I was a Gofer (aka volunteer that runs around and helps keep the whole Con running) and apparently did a good enough job I might actually get invited back as official 'Staff' next year. There was lots of good Anime, the Dealer's Room wasn't as good as I had hoped, but I also got to see the artists for the webcomics Little Gamers, 8-Bit Theatre, Ctrl+Alt+Del, VG Cats, and Megatokyo. And I got fed free food throughout the convention because I was a Gofer (free food always tastes better doesn't it?). Oh..and I finally got to see "Howl's Moving Castle" on the big-screen room..so that kicked ass.

And so after a LOOOOONNNGG weekend I came back, and what do I do instead of going straight to bed? I went straight from Otakon to a LARP...was there for awhile..and finally DID get home and basically checked e-mails, responded to a couple, and then passed the hell out.

So now I'm pretty much recovered, and now it's time to run a few errands, then food, then go to the Newark Arts Alliance building to go listen to Spoken Word poetry...
