anyone who ever says being hearing impaired isn't so bad can shove it up their ass. i am currently having to go through hell to try to get health insurance all b/c the people will not allow me to consent on letting them ("them" being anyone in the medical field) give my dad the information that is needed seeing as how

it makes it a tad fucking hard to hear to GET the information. what pisses me off even more is the fact that ITS ON THE FUCKING APPLICATION that i'm hearing impaired! what the hell?! how else am i supposed to do something like this that requires communication? my dad has always had to help me, yet b/c i am a legal adult i have to give verbal consent to EVERY SINGLE MEDICAL FACILITY. i live in another state. over 1100 miles from my dad. it is a tad difficult to give verbal consent on a phone conversation WHEN I'M NOT THERE.
