Though I am bias to Star Trek (obviously) I cant help but wonder...

When they changed the words from Kirk's era "to boldly go where no man has gone before" to the modern "to boldly go where no one has gone before" - does this mean that no one boldly goes or that no one has gone before?

i think it means that they were concerned that people were assuming that all the other starships were staffed by a crew of women.

four days after first seeing your profile pic, a cable channel in canada, SexTv had a profile on Star Trek fanifc and they did a feature on the person who started drawing those sexing Spock pictures. they interview Leonard Nimoy and he said he thought they were cool.
