Firstly hello to my new friends, sorry its taken so long to add you. I will be on here more i promise. And this blog is prolly gonna be of little interest to you.
And to my old friends: Yup I am still alive.
been that long, ive had to re-go through my past blogs to see where i'm at. So i'm going to briefly re-cap whats kinda gone on:
Location still in the area i was before, except for the next 8 weeks i'm living in a bungalow looking after my grandmas cats whilsts she's gone travelling around the world. Poi, a good Wi-Fi connection and sailor jerry are the only things keeping me sane.
Job I am now officially a jobless student bum and i LOVE IT! I jacked all that work stuff in late november, it was making me stressed, sleepy constantly and i never realised how unhappy it was actually making me and how much it was affecting my uni grades until i told them where to shove it.
I do miss certain people and the general gossip but sure as hell do not miss some others! I do random temp jobs and sell my various tat on ebay for money nowadays, much less time involved.
Yes i am skint most the time, but i have enough to get by, and i've realised i do not need all the excess money and shit i was used to buying. I'm happier with no money and find that trying to be more inventive and cost effective much more fun than working.
Uni yup still slogging away with my degree, trying to secure a good PhD, and potential job with a faceless pharmaceutical company that tbh most people on here would lynch me for even applying. Yet since the lack of employment, my grades have sky-rocketed which should help the prospect of future employment. Although i have quickly realised cross country trains, travel west midland, british rail and general daily commuting SUCKS. I miss a lot of the social side of things, but when i do go out, i enjoy it so much more. Crashing on peoples floors in the worst states imaginable is so much fun.
And in other news.... i've turned 21, I don't really do very much, i have fun with my friends, i'm still with my chap despite rocky times, and spend a lot of my time with a head in a book or in a game. It feels like my college days all over again. I seem to have become totally obsessed with robert downey jr, i honestly think he is the hottest guy in the universe
. I have decided that in this year 2009, i AM going to go to an SGUK meet and try increase my social circle, as it is seeming a little limited atm.
So yeah, thats about it. And if you've made it this far well done.
