I set up a Vyou account. It's actually really fun. Just make sure to use the first take and never watch your replies.

Haha thanks we're a trio though, our poor drummer got cut out of the frame by SG not resizing the photo tongue

It's incredibly depressing to interview someone and realize that you put more thought into their work than they did. Writing bitching aside I'll be at at least one Jay Reatard Amoeba in-store this week. Dungen at Bottom of the Hill at the end of the month and hopefully the SF Zine festival Saturday.

Going to Pirate Cat tomorrow to learn about their internships

Today's Wisdom...

Semi-earnest job search day number one was uneventful. I walked around my new hood a little and passed no fewer than three bike shops. I decided to try a Salsa Casserole for fun and almost ran into a guy crossing the street because I forgot I had to brake with my hands. He gave me a nasty look and deservedly so. Sorry sir.

This town...

Well, I said Malloreigh had inspired me to make a video blog but i've misplaced it in the move so text will just have to do. I'm back in L.A. and being really boring partly because my brother uses the car now and partly because I'm spending all my time in front of my computer. Speaking of which I made a new blog Dunlap Dabbles...

It has been quite a while since I updated but I haven't forgotten about you SG. I've still been keeping up with your blogs. My Suicide Girl friends and stalkees tend to get much more interesting during finals season. It's funny how that happens. And keeping you informed becomes much more important as well. right now it's raining outside and I'm trying to get my...

I'm coming home! Sure, I have papers out my ass that are due the day I get back to school but the important thing is I'm coming home. I woke up super early this morning and couldn't fall asleep again so I decided to take advantage of the wii we're borrowed last night. Wii tennis is a great way to start your day. I

that lasted not too long at all. I'm back. things that have changed since I left. Twitter and Left 4 Dead....and finals but we won't talk about those.

Holy hell in a wicker handbasket, you're back!
Well I feel a little better about the world. Also not leaving. I'm not much for Facebook, as you no doubt gathered.

Yay! I knew you couldn't keep away. kiss

So I have given up on finding a paying job for the rest of summer. no one wants to give me money and that's not going to change considering that I'll have less and less time to work there after they spend their time (which i hear is money) training me. Bad for my bank account, good for people that want to read amateurish blogs....

Ah, fuck it. You have the rest of your life to work anyway. Enjoy the time off before you get used to constantly having money. I don't miss being broke, but I do miss being able to laze around and enjoy the nice weather whenever I feel like it.
opticnerve:
I always hated summers, because I would always fritter it away looking for jobs. There's nothing like looking for seasonal work during a recession. I should have done internships, but I was not the go-getter than as I am now.

Just get a McJob and enjoy the free time.

I JUST realized that you left a comment regarding the name issue. It was buried under my many abortive attempts at comedy. This interface was clearly designed to thwart me and other right thinking americans!

Ahem. I like Ted's music but I'm not crazy about his politics. I've grown accustumed to the "Oh! Like Ted?!" bit during *all* introductions. I've been told that he is a 2nd cousin or something but I've never met him. And I've been told a lot of family trivia which isn't true.

That's why I just tell everyone I'm adopted. Well, I'd like to. Maybe from the ass-end of Krypton or something. Gezer is an inspired name though! I know what you mean about premature curmudgeonry pal. So no more tagging then? I think I'll just send a message next time as it now looks like I'm stalking you.
