So my internet days may soon be numbered. I will be without a computer by the end of the week....*emotear*
I am going to try to find another way to check the site and hopefully will have a new computer in a couple weeks.
not that anyone really reads this but I figured I would fill this blog with randomness that fills my life
I'm into poetry and activism.
Maya Angelou and Russel Means inspire me
For two completely different reasons.
One is in your face demanding that which they want and need. The other fights the same struggle yet it seems there on different battle fields.
My shirt says "Remember Fred Hampton" Though in the area I live in I doubt anyone even knew who he was.
I sometimes dream about what life would be like had I been born in my grandfathers generation.
See people sometimes think that the past is just that. The past. Something long ago.
This country was fully taken over (at least to my people) by 1910.
My father was born in 1934-1938 ( no one knows which year just somewhere in that four year gap )
which means if his father was 20 when he had him. he was born in 1914. 10 years after the passing of our great Chief Joseph ( Hinmuuttu-yalatlat ) back when my ancestors road on horse back across Wallowa valley. So I guess when you think about it. These things that "don't effect us" really where not that long ago.
Nothing gets me hyper like punk music. From the clash to Whole Wheat bread. WWB being one of my favorite bands period.
Also
I *heart* Ellen Page
I have seen Juno 13+ times. It is the only movie I have seen numerous times from start to finish.
You are in a car driving in the middle of a hurricane.
On the street you meet three people
1. An elderly women who will die if she does not get to a hospital
2. your best friend who saved your life
3. the girl of your dreams
only problem is you only have room for one of them in your car.
Who do you take?????

my best friend is much smarter than me and thus would not be in the middle of a hurricane. that person is also the girl of my dreams. that leaves me free to take the elder to the hospital and tell my best friend/girl of my dreams/wife about it later.
