There is something I don't quite understand and perhaps you guys can help me figure it out:
Why do people post their pictures flipped horizontally (mirrored)?
I understand why cameras have this option, but when it comes to admiring the final results (usually shared through the interwebz) it becomes... weird.
You don't have to be a rocket scientist to see it's just wrong when there's text in the picture, but when it comes to people with more assymetric features you might get the feeling your friend was abducted by aliens and what you're seeing are pictures of the doppelganger.
Perhaps this is a trend I know nothing about? I've seen it's awfully common among Iphone users.
(I wouldn't know, I'm an Android kind of girl).
Another thing I'd like to know is: Are all jewish wedding ceremonies so corny? I have no idea, I just had my first last night. I know you get to hear a lot about love and happiness at weddings, but the rabbi totally overdid it. I'm glad I sat at the back, I must have rolled my eyes half of the ceremony (the other half was in Hebrew, ha).
As it is, my friends threw an EXCELLENT party. The place, the food and the music just couldn't be any better! I also drank just too many daiquiris for a straight-edge, but what can I say? They were fantastic, and my big reason for not drinking is that I can't stand the taste of booze. The Mr. kept hoping I'd get drunk, with no such luck.
Today is my niece's 1st birthday, so I'm having yet another party.
So many birthdays in September! <3
