
I spent mine sweating like a pig, but that's how good old Buenos Aires is. Lucky me I've set up my rubber swimming pool ("pelopincho" pa' los gomas), although it isn't enough with this heat. During New Year's Eve, the water got actually warm! And we're talking about a 2x4 m. pool.
Santa brought me a parasol, its stand and those... yellow "flota-flotas" in the picture. Any idea how they're called in English?
Apparently, during last December I was bitten by a cooking bug, since I've been spending every weekend making food. The curious thing is that I've always HATED cooking.
Unexpectedly, I've become very good at making pannetone and after three times of doing it, I've mastered the recipe.
Since the first two times were presents for our folks, today I prepared some specially for Rock and me.
I made two, one with nuts, almonds and chocolate for Rock and another one with just chocolate for me. Cuz we really don't like dry fruits, and regular pannetone (more likely the cheap kind we usually buy) doesn't include nuts or almonds.
