I met the greatest guy this weekend, who asked for my number and then called me THE NEXT DAY! 
Why is it that a phone call the next day is so amazing? If a guy asks for your number, it's pretty much a given that he's into you, right? So why doesn't anyone (usually) call the next day?

it is sad. i think because when guys fall for a girl, whether "in love" or they just like them, they are so vulnerable and that is such a unique situation for them (and the emotions, which they are used to stuffing/hiding are blazing intensely, personified by this girl in front of them) so they try to control it or hide it in any way possible.
