it is sad. i think because when guys fall for a girl, whether "in love" or they just like them, they are so vulnerable and that is such a unique situation for them (and the emotions, which they are used to stuffing/hiding are blazing intensely, personified by this girl in front of them) so they try to control it or hide it in any way possible.
How is it that a person becomes homeless? There are so many people that live in projects and other government housing, and so many of those people don't work at all, I just don't understand how it is that a person chooses to be homeless rather than live in housing through the government and go through some kind of workfare program...

True some are former Psych pts, some have issues with the 'law' and/or just don't want to get involved with Govt programs. For some that's the main reason for being homeless, they want to stay out of the system.
I've read research that indicates people will buy alcohol and cigs before food; so if you want to help, buy them a meal but don't give them money.

So I moved into my new place, and I am in the long process of furniture shopping, since my place is huge and I don't have nearly enough stuff to furnish it properly. Still no cable, but at least I have the internet!

Ever since the time change I can't go to bed at a reasonable hour because it feels so early to me...now I can never get up on time. I haven't made it to work on time in weeks and I am soooooo sleeeeeepy!

Thats never fun, I hat to be late. Sorry I havent been abele to comment on your journals lately I was kicked off of sg for a week and a half I still dont know why I emailed them 6 or 7 times and never got an answer but yesterday they let me back on so im just going to take it as a mistake and not thank about it any more I hope the week and a half I was gone was good.

Though I'm certainly not a fan of her politics, Ayn Rand was a marvelous novelist and Atlas Shrugged is, in my opinion, her best work. I agree that it is very demanding and takes a while to understand but I think you will find it very rewarding.

I had a fantastic, drunken birthday party! I got a bunch of wonderful gifts, all my friends were there; it was the best birthday yet! (Even though I mysteriously skinned my knee...) My actual birthday I went to Denny's, my favorite restaurant, and sat on the couch all day doing nothing with my man. It was GREAT!
