Talk about a crappy day today. I had to really drag myself out of bad today because I couldn't sleep last night. Half consciously bumbled about the apartment getting stuff together for class and ran out the door earlier than normal because I knew I had to stop and get gas on the way. Locked and closed the door and instantly realized my keys were still on my drawing table on the other side of that locked door. So after going and knocking on my landlord's door and seeing more of her husband than I ever would have wanted when he peeked out of the bathroom and had aparently been taking a shower (didn't bother to get a towel before he peeked out of the bathroom door) I unlocked my apartment, grabbed my keys, ran out the door again and headed for class. The gas station I stopped at had a broken pump and the staff obviously couldn't figure this out in less than 10 minutes. So after arriving to class late after trying to leave a good 15 minutes earlier than I needed to I sat through my first class and then realized I had completely forgotten all of my project and supplies for the following class. I didn't have time to run back so I hoped today would be a lecture. Nooooooo. Today was not a lecture, in fact it was a work day. He gave us an entire class to work on a project that I didn't have with me. Needless to say I felt like an idiot when he came around to discuss my project and I had zip to show for it. Well, after that little nightmare was over I headed to get lunch (horendous line, but that's nothing special) and stopped by the post office to mail my SG paperwork where I was nearly rear ended..... by a cop (you know that would have been my fault no matter what). So after that little dose of fun I came home to sulk and take a nap, but still couldn't sleep so I sat waiting for the boyfreind to come home. I knew he was working late, but I assumed that meant an extra 30 minutes or at most a couple of hours. Well, he's normally home by 5:30 and not very long ago he got home (15 minutes or so) which was preceded by probably the best part of my day (not sarcastic actually), finding out the results on my set. It was rejected, but atleast I'm not checking my email every 5 minutes hoping anymore and I had an outdoor set I wanted to do that it won't be warm enough to do for more than 3 months anyways. Still, it's sad that that was the high point of my day. On the happy side of things though there was a little bulldog puppy that was lost I saw on a poster outside Best Buy the other day and they found him. It was a very cute puppy.
