And we're moving. Again.
I love the location we're in now, but it's come to our attention that the stuff that falls like a steady sprinkle of rain off of our walls is, in fact, lead paint. The dust and chips are everywhere in here. I feel kind of stupid that I didn't figure this out on my own a long time ago. In any case, I know now and after doing a little research I found our landlord had a legal obligation to fully disclose the fact that everything in here is coated with lead and to provide us with a roughly ten page packet of information regarding the dangers of it. He didn't, so at least we have an out.
On the upside of the fact that we've moved more in the past few years than the rest of my life combined, the house we're moving to actually has enough space for little one to have her own room (once she's old enough for me to be comfortable with her being on the other side of the house), renovated isn't the right word, but it has been sort of touched up to virtually new condition since it was last occupied, the pup will have a little yard space to run around in again, and I'll once more have a kitchen larger than a pantry.
Oh, and my creepy ex won't have any clue where we live.

glad to hear it all ended up working out for the better. The new place sounds cute.

Did they do the tests and everything? Because if your landlord has lead pain that he knew about and didn't tell you, that's some pretty serious shit!
