I've made a discovery. It's stupid, but true. My work ethic basically disappears when I lack sound and/or access to youtube. Also, I think headphones help me ignore everything else around me. I stole my hubby's really nice ones for a few days while he was at work and I had almost none of my normal issues with working at home (getting preoccupied doing household chore stuff instead of working being the prime example). Gave them back, and I think my time spent today has been about 50% work, 50% worrying about laundry/dishes/what to make for dinner/vacuuming.
Also, I noticed our washer has been broken for nearly a month now. I thought a week was an unreasonable amount of time to wait to be able to wash clothes. A month? Really? I'm now remembering why I hate apartments. I've never had a landlord that would fix ANYTHING. I don't care if they do with most stuff, but the washer is going to have to be replaced, and that is too expensive to just do ourselves, especially when it's busted because the handyman made a mess of installing it in the first place. Next reminder about it needing to be fixed is going as a letter, and I'm going to give him a couple of months of written warnings before we start looking for another place. Major electrical and plumbing issues are not okay, especially with a baby on the way.

I thought about possibly stopping in on the way, but I wanted to get up to NC before I stop tomorrow.
Plus it's the holidays and you're newly enroundening, so there's really no need for internet perverts to liven up the day.
