New Blog, it only took me 2 months to update this time. I'm a month ahead of schedule. So, I had a long period towards the end of August and the beginning of September where there was a dry spell. I seriously almost went crazy from a lack of anything productive. I had work at the stadium for the rest of the Baseball season and it was torture knowing that I'd be out of work in October without a new job to start. Since I didn't have any job prospects for the month I also saved as much money as I could. That meant that I barely went out and when I did I kept it cheap. Needless to say I got real sick of watching movies and TV and I became completely restless. I almost considered packing up and moving to back to CA with the parents but the I got a phone call from a company who got a hold of my resume.
It turns out LOLcats was looking for a video moderator for all of their websites, like Fail Blog, Engrish and all that good stuff. I went through 3 interviews, 1 on the phone and 2 in person and just 2 weeks ago I got the call. I got the job! I started Monday and I love this job. I look up videos that would be good for our websites and then when they're approved for a site I edit them and watermark them and secure permission or the rights to the video. It's so fun. I get along great with everyone so far and I think they like the work I've done so far. I feel good having a full-time job but lately I've also had the urge to start writing again. I started another blog back in May and only wrote 2 entires. Rants By Louie If you're interested, take a look here and let me know what you think. ANY comments would be appreciated. Is it funny or lame? Good writing or not so much?
