Good times in the past couple weeks. I'm all finished with training for the job with the Nintendo Fan Network. I actually met with the human resources team from Nintendo and spent about 2 hours just playing with the DSi for my training session. It was awesome and after seeing all you can do with the application it makes total sense that you would pick it up at the game. When I first heard about it I was glad to be hired, but like I said in the last blog, I didn't get why people would watch the game on their DS rather than just watching the game there at the stadium. Then when I saw how easy it is to work with the program along with all you can do (order food, look up stats, check the traffic and weather for when the game's over, check out the other games going on in the MLB...etc) I got it. Also it's free to rent the DSi so I think I'm going to be very busy administering this program.
My friend Mat is visiting from California this weekend. He loves Seattle and since he's been here before it's nice that he wants to see the local stuff and not the tourist things. Money's tight so we're not going too crazy but we're still having fun. I won't take too long because I don't want to leave him hanging but we're just watching a movie right now so I thought I'd write a little. I'll go into more detail when I have more time, probably Tuesday after my work on opening day is over. Thanks for reading!
