Since i did say i was going to start using this space, it'd be foolish of me not to honor such.
...and seeing as how i've spent about 2+ years with writer's block, i need to work out the kinks!
So i'd like to begin with what it is they call this space and why it is i chose not to use it as such. Blogs seem to be the one thing everyone has to have in order to have any sort of internet identity. Problem is i've never really had any issues with social identity. Well, besides people forgetting who i am which is common. This is due to the fact i don't really put myself out there for people to go, "Hey, it's that guy!!!" i always took it as...this is what i am and that's all i need. So when it comes to writing about my day, as a sort of Online Journal or something, i don't see the need to keep my personal happenings of the day in a space where a potential millions of people can read it freely. No matter how anonymous i keep myself.
Nor do i see the need to tell everyone, "This is where i write stuff" so they can get a clue as to who or what i really am. If they have questions i answer them. i have a myspace, but i don't use it. Don't see the point. i have a facebook but it's reserved for those i've met in person or at least have a personal connection with. Twitter? No. Most you'd ever get from me through that is to tell people i'm writing a message on twitter. i'd only send that message when i actually remembered i have a twitter. And i see even less of a point to even go to that extreme.
So the question remains, just what is this space for...really? It's junk. That's all i have to offer at this point in time. At one point i thought to simply throw up the random video on youtube or dailymotion or something to that extent but i really don't feel like bothering myself with editing. So it's here i'll randomly ramble. Except i'll actually talking about things and put forth the effort to actually remember to do so. i have to. i'm a writer. Can't be as such if i don't write.
But one thing must be taken into account as you decide to read on any further...
i may not always tell the whole truth. Hell, let's not be modest, there will be times i write something that's a blatant lie. As a writer, that's what it means to be a writer. Fiction is nothing but a set of lies convincing enough to the mind that it's totally true. Even if lies are based off of truth, they are lies regardless. My best suggestion when reading this is to keep a watchful eye on your daily salt intake before continuing to monitor what's written here.
