Clutch kicked ass last night! There were three opening bands, The Fallopian Tubes (which we missed), High on Fire (which sucked) and Fu Manchu (which was OK). I spent some of the Fu Manchu set and all of the Clutch set in the mosh pit (check out the profile pic). I've got 42 seperate bruises that I can count with a pretty good one under my right arm. This is pretty amazing becaue I don't bruise easily at all!
I took a couple of friends of mine and Bekka138 and we carpooled up to Grand Rapids to Denny's and met up with EvanX and MistressMissy for a bite to eat then went over to the Orbit Room for the concert where we met up with Madwill and a friend of his for the show.
The coolest thing, while I was out in the pit, someone grabs my head from behind, it was a good friend of mine I jump with but haven't seen in a couple of years! It was kick ass to see him again. He works in the police department so I was kinda suprised to see him sporting his piercing and a goatee so I asked him about it and he told me he was working undercover narcotics for the next couple of years.
There were several girls that spent a lot of time in the mosh pit which was suprising to me, it got pretty rough out there. I was impressed with them. I had one girl wipe her hand across my sweaty bald head and then look me in the eye and lick the sweat from her hand. I helped another one up off the floor when she got knocked down and she reached around and grabbed my ass. When will these girls learn that I want to be appreciated for my mind and not treated as just some cheap sex object!
I'm heading up to Grand Rapids again this Tuesday evening with Bekka138. We're going to Fetish Night at this bar, Ms. Pussykatt and the girls put on a burlesque type show.
