Hmmmmm. I have no power at my house. I saw the trucks working on the lines way over by the mall, must have been at a major power junction. This kinda sucks, I had all sorts of things to get done at home tonight. Shit.

Hell, during the blackout of August 2003, I surfed the web with a car battery, a 140W inverter, and a five-year old PowerBook.
Come to think of it, I had to use that same car battery & inverter to use my phone. Cordless phones need their AC.
It was neato.
