That is a tough one as i've seen a lot of musicals or movies about music ( concert films)
so i'll go with one of the earliest ones i saw
"Tommy"
I fully realize the film itself is pretty cheesy, but i've always liked "The Who"
and the image of Ann Margaret rolling around in baked beans just kind of fascinated me!
and warped my young mind..

Ok, I ain't gonna talk about the Oscars because a) Two days have passed and its getting staler than the bagels in the day-old section of my local Ralph's and b) "Crash" is still Best Picture...I mean for fuck's sake...the state of California recalled Gray Davis and replaced him with Arnold fucking Schwarzenegger when it was felt all was not well...Can't we do the same...
