yesterday was so fucking awesome. woke up at 3, got to the cemetery at 6 and spent the next 14 hours running around doing odd jobs working my ass off. i'm still exhausted and incredibly sore. the mausoleum we filmed much of it in was sooooooo cool, a labyrinth of marble and stained glass....too bad all the paintings were hideous. i ate probably the best stuffed grape leaves ever for lunch. i made friends with the tall dude in the bowler playing the undertaker, and the midget. i saw boobies. i managed to use the squirt gun i brought for cleaning off the stupid ass roses i spent 3 hours chasing. i can now say i have touched one of the girls in tatu. and even though i was just a lowly art department pa who isn't supposed to get paid, rachel, my friend teacher and production designer used up the rest of her budget by giving me 50 bucks. i am ridiculously happy to have had this opportunity, having this experience under my belt is gonna help me out so much.
the funniest part of the day was when i was hiding in an alcove of the hot humid funeral scene. they were filming with the camera on that cart thing (the jenny?) with like 4 guys on it, following the actors as they moved forward. i had to wait around to clean the lipstick off a picture Yulia was kissing. so these guys went past me like 4 or 5 times looking very serious. and then like the 6th time they passed all of a sudden they all had ice cream! and of course, they were all still looking very serious
i uploaded all the pics to an album for whatever reason

The blog was incredibly sad - there's a new one that's not quite so mortifying ... it's a burden though, to be sure. We all have burdens, though ... and we all must bear them.
