Today was the "grassroots" protest for Smokers Unite. i slept over at tom's and we woke up super late so i got to school like a half hour later than i wanted to. after parking my car, i walked over to where they were and heard a honk and then lots of shouting. i knew shit was going down 
i got there and sara had a group of people on the sidewalk with signs, making cars honk for us. we had a blast.aparently before i got there, there were three different instances where the cops came. First to tell them to get out of the street, second to tell us to get the tape off the street cuz it was "littering", and the third to tell us if the honking and shouting got too loud we would have to stop. but i guess they were pretty cool about it. we had so many school maintenance guys tooting their little golf cart horns too, it was hilarious. after about a while these two official looking school people came over to us. i was afraid they were gonna tell us to gtfo but the woman told us she was glad we were having a protest and supported our right to do so. she has seen the posters we put up last week. she wanted to help us do things right by getting a club going, have our cause approved, and we could put up posters without having them torn down immediately. however, she didn't want us in the street/sidewalk like we were and called the student union to see if we could protest in their courtyard. we explained to her that we were where we were because it was a ridiculous designated smoke spot and we wouldn't actually be able to smoke in the court yard. we decided to disband for the day and continue our protest after we made things more official and were more prepared (better signs and chalk) as me and sara were leaving to get more ciggs, a bunch of other students came up to us asking what was going, we had a ra from housing tell us more about the weird rules and how he wanted to help, and we had the student body presdinat come to us and say he was gonna help us as well and was super stoked. everyone agrees that it is totally reasonable that housing be given back a nice bench, ashtrays, and possibly an over hang in this one smoking ok spot near housing. cuz right now, housing has no place to smoke unless they walk suuuuuper far away..the spots they've designated are practically inhumane, like the middle of the street. plus police can give them tickets even if they are in ok spots..... the different school and housing governments really need to talk to eachother before they pass anymore bullshit...
so yea, were gonna have a real club and make t-shirts and im gonna bring my hookah and its gonna be like the 60's all over again XD lol

lol it's supposed to be the "first animal sacrifice," so it's adam. the dinosaurs were dead by the time of jesus. that's just common sense.

these people had an entire video devoted to explaining how legends of dragons prove that people coexisted with dinosaurs. O_O it's a bit unnerving to think that people are teaching their children these things.
