Ever feel like your life is one big manifestation of Murphy's law? If I ever choose to have a kid, that's what I want to name him/her; that oughta boost it's self esteem, dontcha think? Speaking of parenting, now that my relationship has been somewhat patched up between my father and me, we are having regular weekly conversations...One of the things he likes to go on about his how the marriage between his first wife (my momma) and him was a mistake. Wow, gee thanks...every time I make some kind of smart-ass remark to that effect, he quickly back-pedals and is all "that's not what I meant, (real name)"

Big test today in Memory, wish me luck, supposed to be studying, but posting...self-handicapping at its best!! Learning more about psychology has been really informative in my day to day experiences, not everyone in the department appreciates my honesty, however. In "Motivation", a class taught by one of your socialist Californians, har har, we were discussing competition. Well, the discussion of careers came up and me in my infiinite wisdom made the remark: "well someone has to be a garbage man or a custodian" quickly realizing that I could have offended someone (especially not knowing the PC terms), I blushed and the teacher reprimanded me for being "mean". No, I was just being honest, there are a lot of shitty jobs in this world, no one wants to do them, but the sad truth is that someone has to do them or they will never get done. Get an education, kids!!!
