2 down, 3 to go...
I just finished my third and final cognitive science paper and ran the experiment for the mental repression theory. Mine was the boring control group, though. There is not a whole hell of a lot that is in IRB range that one can do to induce repression which makes the test a little flawed in my opinion, because the paradigm is based on the notion that repression occurs when a traumatic event occurs. If anyone knows anything about experimentation with humans, you just are't allowed to have that kind of fun with people.
Damn, its pissin down rain, no fun sleep dep bike ride for me. But , I am the rain, falling down to cover youuuu The mood will probably significantly drop. If anything feel thankful that, I tend to reserve my manic spells for this journal (yeah, last entry was all depressing)
OMG, I am such a hippy, don't believe me? Okay, well the topic for my CS paper was entitled "Taoism in Cognitive Science" Yeah, because in my readings I noticed a lot of dichotomies in this field. Most of the time, these opinions were neither right nor wrong but a compromise or middle ground between the two opposing sides, so it reminded me of the I-ching symbol (the yin and the yang) and thus eastern philosophy sounded like an interesting topic, I prmose no cannibis was consumed during the writing of this paper.
Guilty Pleasure Band: Dirty Vegas. Love em, love em, love em....Favourite songs: I should know and 7am..They make me happy to be awake in the morning and inspired to jump around and act silly, because that happens from time to time. It wasn't a joke that I like virtually ALL electronica (except for daft punk, they come off as terribly pretensious for some reason) DV (OMG I CANT BELIEVE I JUST TYPED THAT) hooked me with that stupid "days go by" mitsubishi crap and then got the rest of the CD and loved most of the tracks . So you definately should check it out, at least that one release. 've heard bad review of subsequent releases, but the self titled release is mucho bueno.
its 4:44, do you know where your mind is?

Though, I think I have that seasonal disorder thing a little.
Heh, I love Dirty Vegas.
I've been lazy as of late, but a while back I started looking into Taoism. I really liked it.
