too cool for school,
(edit) hehehehe, that statement just reminded me of something totally random. There was this SNL skit with John Goodman way back in the day with Tim Meadows teaching an Adult Literacy Program and John Goodman as the "Class Clown". He would parade around and go "too cool for school" Tim Meadows responded "Sir, this isn't 'school', this is an adult literacy program" Does anyone remember that, it was hilarious! (backslashedit)
but not really...taking 12 hours again, one day I will be finished, one day....
It has taken me so long, because I never really found a niche. Psychology is just damn interesting to me, so I chose that. I think at one time I was going to major in that, but was talked out of it because the person (who incidentally never went to college, I think) said that with a Bachelor's degree in that particular field, I would end up becomming a social worker in MS.
The part about being a social worker isn't true, however. I have heard that I would more likely work at a movie theater. That was coming from a person who had said degree. Yeah, the problem with Baccalaureat (sic) degrees today for people like me who are just getting them is that they are becomming as common as high school diploma, just about anyone with 1/2 of a brain can get one (except me, hahaha). Baby steps though. Masters is definately something to pursue, I mean, shit what else am I going to do, get a job? Getting paid to go to school would kick so much more ass. I think being on the payroll of SG would kick even more ass, but alas, I do not live in LA...
I will have to make do with a doctorate in Cognitive Science (if I could even do the Masters' Program)
