just chillin with the movie traffic in the background, not that much of a fan of the plot, but i like the way they change the colour tones from sepia and blue, from different locations. grr, throat all scratchy sore, think im getting a bit sick. saw this movie today on sundance,it is becoming my new favourite channel (thank gahd for digital cable, its wanderful!) anyway, the short film was entitled "american mod" yeah, it was cool how they all looked retro, drove on scooters, and talked with a brooklyn accent, but, the scene i guess seemed a bit posuerish. the main charecter reminded me of a former SG member who shall remain nameless

You are soooo cool. I love your pictures and I hail you for name dropping Love Spirals Downward. I saw them perform at an art gallery here in LA years ago. Great show.
American Mods are poseurs, but so are hippies from 2002. It's cool, though. I don't think it's bad to appropriate another eras scene...just as long as you mean it.
