I was curious if the font used for the words "Hello Kitty" at the top of the 2004 calendar were a font available to the public, or if it was specifically created for Sanrio's personal use. If it's at all possible, I'd love to have the font itself, it's name or a similar font name to use. Thank you ahead of time for any assistance you can give me.

Hello! Are you referring to an online calendar or a print one? I would love to help you, if I can.
This is a great website, too, if you ever want to find out what a font is.

So I said back:
Actually, the best picture I can find would be here

The font used for the 'Hello Kitty' at the top is the one I mean.
And thanks for being so helpful, the site you linked me to is great!
And they replied:
The name of that font is Wendy. I am sure you can find it somewhere! Good luck!
Who needs google when you can go right to the source?
But I was thinking that maybe before you go and pay that much for the font, you should check at Best Buy or Circuit City or somewhere like that in their bargain cd's. They almost always have those font cd's with hundreds of fonts for $5 or so, maybe you'd get lucky and find Wendy on one of those. It's worth a try if nothing else.
