Well you'll find surrey has a lot of crime and bad kids and so forth, just that it's very well hidden here; mind you the streets are still safer to walk in the middle of the night than in Edmonton *shudders* getting stabbed in the downtown Deadmonton core was fun lol ARRR!!!
