This weekend was pretty cool. I saw the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. I was a little dissapointed in it since it went so far from the book. I think I'm going to see it again and try to appreciate it for the movie and not a movie based on a book.
Saturday I traded in one of my basses for a new bass. Oddly enough the new one has the exact same color and body style as my first bass. Here they are side by side. the difference is the extra pickups on the new bass. It sounds pretty cool. I also bought some stickers for the old one. I'm going to put a SG sticker on there as soon as they come in.
Update: I just saw H2G2 for the second time and I Liked it more this time knowing it wasn't a faithful book-movie adaptation. I still have problems with Trillian though. I think the love story was lame and her acting kinda sucks. All her lines sounded really unnatural, like Colin Quinn on SNLs weekend update.

Don't worry, I mean more like 2 hours a day instead of 7...
The Trillian to Colin Quinn analogy is spot on.
I'm looking forward to seeing the movie a couple more times to get my opinions sorted out...
