Not if you've already watched it, but I advise you to give this anime a chance!
It is the story of the school life of Wakana Gojou, a lonely young man with an unusual passion for the beautiful Hina dolls that his grandfather creates, to the point of dreaming of becoming a craftsman like him.
This passion has earned him two things: a childhood trauma, which makes him worry too much about what others think; and sewing and painting skills, which he has been training since he was little. In his room there is a girl named Marin Kitagawa, an extremely uninhibited person who is not afraid to speak her mind, to the point that Gojou feels a certain envy of her.
In the end, Marin discovers Gojou's love for dolls and abilities. And to his surprise, she doesn't judge him! In fact, she is impressed that he knows how to sew clothes and sees it as a unique opportunity: asking Gojou to sew clothes for a cosplay.
This story inspired me to sew and make my own cosplays. The fact that it is made by m,i, gives me a sense of pride and joy. The process of creating a cosplay, seeing every detail being born by my hands is something indescribable.
He anime is super romantic, but in my opinion it touches on relationships that young people really have, nothing like My Love Story or other romance-based animes, it really brings more feelings, like girls really are (a little) what it's like to fall in love in adolescence..
A delicate theme that the anime brings up is PREJUDICE, which must be abhorred in every way.. respect, the spaces of others, including tastes and preferences, must be taken seriously! One of Marin's lines is that no one can make fun or make fun of the taste of others!
Thanks for the space! @MISSY @LEMON @JACQUELINE @SEAN @EIRENNE @YESSYBEAR
