Oklahoma got snow this afternoon. I haven't seen snow in the past 2 years and haven't had any sort of experience driving it in before. Granted it was a fuckin' lame snow that was probably an 2-4 inches deep. I know it's nothing like it would be if I was living in the northeast.. But damn...it was a complete bitch to drive in. I've got to keep in mind that going a bit over the speed limit in the snow is a bad idea if my tires aren't equipped for that sort of weather. It was amusing even if I did skid like 3290473284 times.
I did a lot of Christmas shopping today. I need to get everyone out of the way in regards to presents. Not sure how much more money I'll be using towards presents though. Nett's car broke down today and so now that's 3 cars that we can't drive. What a crock of shit. I hope it's nothing too serious in regards to her car. This just isn't the time for it to break down dammit. Regardless...I have a ton of shit to sell off and I'll be posting a list of that stuff in the next couple of days. Maybe even tomorrow depending on the weather and if I'm homebound for the day.
My spirits still aren't down in the dumps though. My pants get back from the tailor on Friday so I'll have some good fitting pants to wear as opposed to wearing jeans I have to cuff a few times. It just gets annoying after awhile. I'm surprised I didn't get them done sooner given they aren't expensive to alter. I hope they don't come out fucked in anyway, shape or form. I could hardly understand that old Asian dude. ::shakes head::
I have a big weekend planned and hopefully mostly all goes according to plan. Now if only we can get some cheap good shows set up in my immediate area....all will be right with the world.
