Hey everyone out there in SG land! Sorry I've been MIA of late. The past two months have been way to busy!!!! Moving, couple of moe. shows, Devils games, work, WVa for Thanksgiving and getting ready for the holidays. Feels like this morning is the first time I've really had a chance to have my usual "chill" weekend morning, drinking coffee and smoking camel lights (lol)
The girlie and I found an amazing place and spent most of November getting moved in.... well I should say getting her totally moved in and me at about 75%. My landlord was a complete a$$hole about letting me out of my lease two months early. Kinda crazy considering I've paid my rent on time every month since December 2001 and the only reason why my "end date" is the end of Jan is because they couldn't get the renewal lease together twice in the course of the years and it made sense at the time. Anyway, we've concentrated on getting her out of her place and have now started working on getting my stuff moved out of the beach apartment. It's amazing the amount of stuff one can accumulate in 9 years. Paying double rent for Dec & Jan sucks, but on the flip side having moved some of the stuff to the new place has given me a chance to get rid of a whole lot of stuff that I don't need.
Have to admit that I'm rather "bah-humbug" about the holidays this year. We're heading to the Dominican Republic just a few days after New Years. Would be more than happy to fast forward time a bit. Booked a package deal with our band moe. to stay 5 nights at a 4 star, all inclusive resort and moe. will be playing the first four nights (we added an extra day on the back end). Here's the site for the resort if you want to make yourself green with envy:

Then there's all sorts of activities, some with the band, some without. I have a feeling I won't even leave the resort. I had originally planned on simply packing a swimsuit, a pair of shorts and a couple of tee shirts. Heading to the warm sun and clear blue water so figured I'd go lite. But then reading the website some of the restaurants we'd like to try have these dress codes... no shorts, no flip flops, collared shirts. So looks like I'll be bringing a little more than I orginally anticipated. Not a bad problem to have (lol)
Well, I should get my butt in gear and head on down to the beach apartment and get some more packing and throwing away done. Keep smiling out there!!!!!

I'm jealous about your trip. I'd like nothing better than to be able to get away from this cold weather. And it's only going to get worse.

hope the move goes well! ^_^
