About this time every year I start getting fed up with the tourists, better known as Benny's, and this year is no exception. Too many human beings in too small of a geographical area!!!!! Just a few more weeks and local summer will begin.
Another week at the office done and in the books. Supposed to be a nice and sunny all weekend so suspect that girlie and I will head on down to the beach for some "skin baking" even though I really don't tan up all that much.... darn Irish in me (lol). We've also got plans to meet up with some friends tomorrow evening for dinner and drinks, the where and when is still yet to be determined. Regardless of where we go it'll be nice to catch up with them.
Well all my peeps out there in SG land, have a killer weekend and keep smiling!!!!

To answer IndieBuddhist's questions..... Benny's are what all us locals call the folks who come down from New York City & the surrounding suburbs. I've heard a number of theories as to why they are called this. However, I think it's the one that has to do with they way the train conductors used to mark luggage back in the day with chalk, BNY. One can imagine a whole butt load of tourists getting off the train on a Friday evening and everyone is carrying luggage with BNY marked on the side.
