Just a quick little update since I can't sleep..... 
I actually had a pretty good day....took my $500 deposit down to the house I want, they seemed pretty positive about me getting it, but I'll find out for sure tomorrow. Now, who's going to be the first to visit?!? You might win a prize!! 
Then this evening, I got a phone call from a guy I used to date who was in town for the night....we spent several hours sharing a bottle of wine and talking about our goals and dreams in life....it's great but scary how much they are the same. I dumped him previously because all he cared about was drinking and weed.....now he bought a house, and has a good job, and is going back to school....really grown up. He's probably coming back to Charlotte this summer....he's told me before how he wishes he had a girl like me......basically just a great night all in all. I think I'll see him again tomorrow before he goes.
Wouldn't date him again probably, but it's nice to know someone thinks you're hot!
In all honesty though, my goals aren't really that different from anyone else's. Meet someone, fall in love, get married, have babies, and live happily ever after. Too bad things don't always work out that way.....Hell, I'd be happy to date someone that is really into me right now.....I don't really miss the people I've dated, I miss having someone to do special little things for....but oh well. 
Don't get me wrong, I've actually enjoyed being single for once, sometimes it just gets to ya, you know?!
This week should be busy....IKCSmiley is coming up to see if he wants to move here, so I'll see him Thursday, and possibly Saturday. I have to go to Charleston, SC to help my best friend shop for bridesmaid dresses, but I'm not sure what day that will be. Hopefully getting things ready to move!!

Actually my goal right now is to be happy without relying on a girl or a high paying job for happiness. To be comfortable and happy with myself, I guess you could say.
I asked what I should take, because I don't want to forget anything obvious. But I'd take suggestions for types of liquor or food people might want. I want to bring enough to share. Not enough to share with 80 people though.
You and me both sister. Oh well such is life right.
The date went fairly well. She is seven years older than me so I think I may be a bit immature for her. Funny how if I date older guys it's not a problem but older women tend to not be to interested because they think i'm immature. Whatever.
