Warning: this is pretty gross.
I guess I missed blogging about this when it happened, but a couple of weeks ago, right before classes ended, I had two finals, back to back, in elective classes that I didn't really care about and thus didn't study for until the night before, really.
So it's the morning of the tests and here I am, unprepared, freaking out, on my period, only had a couple hours of sleep, got up at 6 to try and finish going through the chapters or whatever, and I have to pee, like, a lot. After the second time or so, I go, "huh, that's weird. And I'm bleeding more than usual. Wait a second... " and I pop a tampon in and clean myself off and pee again (which was weird too, being able to pee on demand), and sure enough, it's thick and dark red.
This has never happened to me before.
And stupid me, I go "Shit! I can't go to the doctor, I have tests to take!"
So I actually went to school and took my first final, although I had to turn it in early to run to the bathroom and pee more blood, which was beginning to hurt by now, when finally I said OK, yeah, doctor time.
They told me to come in ASAP and I had to get the boy to come pick me up from campus. He was freaking out, I think he was convinced that my kidneys were disintegrating, but it turned out to just be an infection, they gave me antibiotics, it cleared up the next day, and I did my other final on Friday (after more studying).
Still, though, one of the freakiest days I have had in a while
