SO the 2008 business year has started with a bang at work and at home.... first off we lay off over 300 people from the place I work, luckily I kept my job. Unluckily however, I discovered that most of us that remain won't be receiving any more raises for the foreseeable future, even though the cost of living has gone up considerably. I've decided that in order to make ends meet, I need to start making myself available for art commissions, but I need to find a way to work that around the day job. And then I have a relative in the hospital going through dialysis to try and save her life. I could go on and on..the car needs work, the house needs work, but it gets old fast. It just feels good to be able to vent once in a while, you know?
