Well as I updated yesterday I made it back home okay, and my internal organs are sore.
Progress today has been made in the pain department. It now just feels as if somebody is leaning on my back constantly......
During the drive down from Thurso, I was more than happy that I had spent 71.20 earlier in the month, when my bastard car decided it had had enough of driving and was determined to leave me stranded in the arse end of nowhere...... (or about 20 mins from Pitlochry).
Thankfully after phoning the 4th Emergency service, a knight in a beanie hat and blue boiler suit came to my rescue, fixed my car and sent me on my way. And to think, only a week ago I was going to cancel my cover, as I don't really use my car any more!
So how have we all been? I was trying to get around as many journals as possible last night, but got sidetracked by tv and bed.....
"I used to think I was poor. Then they told me I wasn't poor, I was needy. Then they told me it was self-defeating to think of myself as needy. I was deprived. (Oh not deprived but rather underprivileged) Then they told me that underprivileged was overused. I was disadvantaged. I still don't have a dime. But I have a great vocabulary." - Jules Feiffer
Pic of the day.... (kinda)
edited to say, by deed poll I have again changed my name.
