Well, hello there.
A S_eldorado's request (and because I am long overdue for an update) , I suppose, here goes.
Next week is Week Four of classes. Weird that I've been back for a month already, or more. I think I've grown accustomed to feeling unsettled, wherever I am. Isn't that funny? I can brush off re-integrating into new environments with a flippant kick of my heel. Or, stomp of my boot, rather.
Otherwise, classes are well. My painting / midi classes are fucking wonderful, and Indiana itself has been really, really humid. And culturally abysmal, but mostly humid.
My apartment is damned clean. So I guess that means I'm either A) getting acclamated to living alone or B) developing a neurotic compulsion to organize the space around me so I can feel in control of my circumstancial environment, and ultimately, myself. or C) turning into my mother.
I suspect its D) all of the above. Heh.
Stranger things have happened, of that I'm certain.
Oh, I spent a bit of time updating sougwen.com this week, too. Y'all should check it out. I should post with some random sketches/pictures pretty frequently, or whenever I get around to it.
Anyway, hope anyone and all on my list are having good weeks/months/lives in general.
