I don't like politics. I have never before contributed to a presidential campaign in the primaries. Even in the general election, I've never before contributed more than $100 in total. But, over the past 6 months, I've contributed $700 to the Obama campaign. I've done this because I don't want to see a continuation of Bush and Clinton family dynasties, because I don't trust Hillary's intentions, and most of all because I think Barak Obama has the charisma, passion, and intelligence to actually make a positive difference for this country. He's the only candidate that stands any chance of restoring a positive view of the US in the world at large, and of actually bringing people together to truly tackle the problems we are facing instead of just pointing to distractions and scapegoats to direct public ire against.
If you care what happens to this country over the next 4 years, I encourage you to go and make a donation, however small or large you can. Tell me how much it is, and I'll match what you donate.

If you can't donate, get involved. Put a bumper-sticker on your car, and a sign in your window. I'm not willing to put up with another 4 years of blatant and harmful stupidity in government while there exists a chance for something better.
