I know I owe the IRS money this year on my taxes. To add insult to injury, I have to fill in 12 different forms and worksheets to figure out exactly how much I owe them. Even more enjoyable, every time I look back over the forms, there's something else I missed that makes me do the whole damn thing over again, and 30 minutes later, I've saved myself $2.64. I do NOT consider that time well spent.
The people responsible for this insane tax system need to be lined up and shot. Of course, they'd all die of old age before anyone could figure out how to expense the rifles.
How about a simple flat tax? Oh wait, H&R Block would be out of business, and the IRS could then be run by three guys named Bob and a few pet monkeys. God forbid we have efficiency and effectiveness in government.

Aw, shit. That sucks. I used TurboTax on-line. I'm pretty impressed with it. It made all the stock stuff easy.
merritt:
Thanks man.
