Behold the fun that was had and how freaking cool it is! So many books, so little time! Also, the cool artist spaces upstairs, and the Labyrinth of books, and... and... books in safes! Holy moly. I will certainly be going back whenever I can.
(That is my wonderful friend who went with me on this adventure.)
I just really loved and marveled at the illustration in this book. Look at all those details! Every page was like that.
The beautiful safe door! And then... the lovely old books that were inside:
Comfy place to sit and read. What every good bookstore ought to have. ^_^ (sorry for the fuzziness of some of the pics. They were all done on my cell phone and it doesn't always cooperate).
I didn't get the name of the shop where this camera was, but it was full of cool vintage finds and these cameras were so cool!
The looks and comments I get when I wear my "Denmark's a prison" shirt is hilarious. It has the other quote "We know what we are, but know not what we may be" on the back, along with "HAMLET presented by Austin's Shakespeare Festival".
This book looks so amazing!!! Food and books. Two of my great loves.
A couple days later, I was at Barnes&Noble with a friend (who was buying me a book for a belated birthday/graduation gift!) and found this quote in a book on English Eccentricity in the interior design section. I love this quote!
Gotta love book-filled adventures with friends! They make things so much better.^_^
LOVE!
