aHHHHH!!!! One more final and the semester is done! And! I just realized that Christmas is only 2 weeks away, well... I realized tonight because my mom said so, and I sort of had a panick. Main reasons for this - 1) I don't have a job as of this week, and have to make my monies stretch until the first week of January, but that being not so terribly far away should be doable... Though, I ought to find work anyway. 2) I have one more final and that happens to be with my super anal random ass tv film acting teacher who decided at the last minute to test us of random quotes she gave us throughout the semester, and that's tomorrow, and I doubt I studied enough. Oh well... 3) I don't have any presents for my family, don't know who the person I'm in charge of the main present for, and am uncertain how to afford any of it...
Oh and I have to magically save up the money to survive in Europe for two months next summer (May 20 - July 22). Anyone have help for me, that would be great. By help, I mean ideas for cheap or free places for me and my best friend Pheydra and my boy Dragonflower to crash in various locations. We have Edinbourgh covered thanks to Pheydra's badass new buddy who happens to also be from Texas, but married a Scotsman a year ago and now lives there and freely offered their flat as a place for us to crash. I think it sounds like a blast. Other cool help, would be places you think we have to visit, nifty food stops if you know some, and any other pointers.
I went there when I was 2 for six months, living there while my Dad made a film by the name of "The Radicals." I even started speaking french while there since the majority of the crew was french. I do have memories of the places we were and am happy to be returning. In some ways I think it could be like a long and distant sense of home when I arrive.
But yeah... end of the year is coming up super quick! I gotta start practicing my flute for the Christmas service at my folks church. I've played for the Christmas pagaent since I was in Junior High. I love it, but I'm so out of practice now adays. Peace, love and blessings all! Best of luck with the holidays (all variety)!!!
