@weedfarmer recently tagged me to participate in a “five things you love and five things you hate” thing, something I feel like I did not too long ago, but I’m down to do it again.
5 things I love in no particular order (excluding things like air, gravity, etc.):
1) Peace. I’ve been enjoying my quiet time quite a bit these days, and I’d love to see that happen on a worldwide scale. Let’s silence all of those fucking guns and just chill the fuck out, shall we? There’s no disagreement over territory or resources or what have you that can’t be solved through peaceful negotiation. All that’s required is a calm temperament and a brain.
2) Learning. I’ve been a little lax these days, but I do love to learn new things, and I’m def cool with being corrected regarding stuff I thought I knew. The universe is complex, and thus so are we, and it’s good for us to know all we can.
3) My current social network. My family is pretty great, and my friends? Well, I’ve surrounded myself with some pretty amazing people. I even met some awesome people through this community, something I wasn’t expecting when I first signed up for the purposes of looking at boobs and butts.
4) Fantasy/Sci-Fi stuff. My favourite franchise is “Star Wars”, but I’m into a bunch of other things. When I’m not learning or working, I’m entertained. I recently saw “Deadpool and Wolverine” and “Alien: Romulus”, and both were great! I’ve also enjoyed some anime and video games in my time.
5) Music. There’s nothing like putting on my headphones and walking for an hour or more just listening to my tunes. I listen to bits and pieces from just about every genre. I wrote song lyrics for two songs recently, though both need tweaking.
Five things I hate:
1) Racism. Wtf, guys. It’s 2024. Get over that idiotic shit. Basing people purely on their skin colour or ethnicity is just fucking dumb. Take, like, two minutes to get to know who people are before judging them.
2) Misogyny. Another wtf moment here. This site alone should convince those who are backwards about this that looking down on women just because they’re women is dumb as fuck. They don’t deserve that shit. A bunch of them are fit as fuck and could likely kick your ass should you bring that shit their way, and I hope they do. Not that it was ever OK, but it’s not the fucking 40’s anymore, so come back to 2024, already.
3) Cults. I wish people would think for themselves. Many do, but some choose a simpler route. I can feel for some, those who had a bad go and are lost because of it. We have brains, though, and we should be using them to question everything. Instead, so many give that up to be pawns/sheep/slaves/coppertops (a Matrix insult), and that, to me, is a waste of potential.
4) Greed. It goes hand-in-hand with cults, really, because the really greedy have no problem with exploiting millions of people to get what they want. Sure, it’s based in our survival instincts (resources = good), but there’s gotta be a limit on that. There’s so much suffering out in the world caused by the greed of but a few. If everyone just woke up and saw that, we’d improve things for everyone else so fast.
5) Injustice. Those that have taken advantage of the undereducated, the poor, the desperate, etc., should all be lined up and shot. Instead, they’re in their mansions sipping wine, or attending rallies to further their goals, or flying on their private jets. These people need to pay for their crimes and serve as an example to others who would dare try to take their place.
