I like these fun, easy, light-hearted blogs from @missy, @rambo, and @lyxzen. This week they asked us to blog about the shows that we are currently watching.
I think spring is the best time of year for the television shows that I watch. I am in the middle of a series plus have several starting in the next few weeks. Hooray! Less reason to venture into the outside world!
Sunday nights: Venture Brothers! One of my all-time favorite characters. "Drgirlfriend" is my handle for many things including my former World of Warcraft character name, until I switched servers...
This is from a past season but...seriously....one of the best adult cartoons out there.
Monday nights: Better Call Saul
I loved Breaking Bad and it's so neat to see some of the characters before all the shit within Breaking Bad went down.
Thursday nights: VIIIIIKINGS!
This is seriously one of my favorite shows of all time now. There are many series that I follow, that maybe I am late to the party for and I look up the series and wind up spoiling the plot for myself. Not with Vikings! There have been so many scenes that have left me with my jaw gaping. I love the character development throughout the season, there's always something new and unexpected happening.
And yes, I would totally be down to have an orgy with Travis Fimmel (Ragnar), Katheryn Winnick (Lagertha), and Alexander Ludwig (Bjorn). Rollo gets left out because there's been just too much betrayal
Bob's Burgers is my go-to show whenever I just want to chill out and watch something funny.
Upcoming!
End of next week, we'll have season 2 of Daredevil! I was not expecting to enjoy this series as much as I did but I really liked the first series. Towards the end of the month, Archer returns as well which is another one of my favorite cartoons. I am totally in love with H. Jon Benjamin's voice
And last but certainly not least, season 6 of Game of Thrones. GoT is love, GoT is life, GoT is everything. Sadly, like I mentioned before, I read wikis and spoilers and fan theories because I just can't help myself. It doesn't make me look forward to it any less.
Plus, Hockey will be on until the beginning of June or so with the post season. My Red Wings are up in the air right now if they might make it into the play offs, despite all my fingers and toes and arms and legs being crossed that the team makes it. My second team is the Los Angeles Kings so I'll have A team to root for at least
