I'm here! I'm alive!
I've been popping in from time to time because I have been finishing up school and with two jobs, I've mostly just had time at home to sleep and sex. My semester finished on Thursday and I celebrated by going to Disneyland yesterday. I am still working the merchandising job which will not conclude until after Christmas or so and my boss has decided to put me on 5 days instead of 4 just as I got done with school. Go figure. Oh well, I guess I will just have to spend all this extra money on online shopping.
I can trade one kind of a homework another, the kind that involves nudey or semi-nudey photos.
So today's blog homework from @missy, @rambo, and @lyxzen is "What are your top three gifts?"
I've gotten to the point where I am a boring adult and really don't need much in the way of gifts.
1. Red Wings gear. thanks to my husband for turning me into a hockey fan, maybe to make it easier to get me gifts. This year I got an early gift of an Old Time Hockey sweater
This thing is cozy and warm as hell! And looks extra good. I also asked for a new sweater (jersey) for either Petr Mrazek or Justin Abdelkader. In return, I got my husband a Domink Hasek along with one of these silly things.
So as you can see, it's a Red Wings Christmas for all.
2. Star Wars anything.
3. Legos. 3 and 2 kind of go together luckily. I love Legos, as I am sure most of you can tell, because of the ability it gives me to space and just focus on a single task. They are my form of relaxation. I particularly enjoy building shapes because i like the finished product a lot as a display piece. I have little room left for such things but I would love the Sandcrawler and an X Wing at some point. Lord knowing they will keep coming out with stuff as the new movie series progresses.
I like gift giving a lot. I don't typically spend a lot of money on myself so I kind of go nuts over Christmas buying gifts for others. This is my first year taking part in the SG Hopeful's Secret Santa Exchange since I don't have too many in person friends to buy for. I like to get people a big gift for something they really need vs lots of little items. My husband is getting an Xbox One this year and a Daniel Defense upper receiver for a rifle he wants to start making.
I think he has an idea about the Xbox because he put it on his list but he has no idea about the rifle parts. He is literally going to shit bricks when he opens it, I can't wait to see his expression.
I would Christmas to get here so I can give out my presents already!
What's your best gift to receive?
How do you like to give it ;)?
I hope everyone gets through the next two weeks with some ease!
