This week's @bloghomework from @missy @rambo and @lyxzen was asking us to regale the SG world with a funny story.
Usually my funny stories are at my own expense to some degree. Not saying that I get hurt or something bad happens to me but things that usually end up becoming funny stories is because I did something very dumb.
Case in point:
My husband and I started dating in August and we went for ramen (as we often do) once in October (see, so short span of time we'd been together). Anyways, we went for lunch and got a combo so we could have some spam musubi. They brought that out first and I dove right into it.
Well, my husband noticed something kind of peculiar. He says, after I've already eaten a whole piece, "I think this has saran wrap still on it."
I take a look and tell him "oh no, it must just be rice paper, like in the Botan Rice Candies!" And I wolf down my second piece. I was pretty convinced it was like the crinkly rice paper on the candies.
My husband peels off saran wrap from the piece he is about to eat, "It's plastic wrap babe, you just ate two pieces of plastic wrap"
I played it off like whatever! It'll protect the delicious food in my belly. And he still laughs at me about it to this day.
I wonder if that plastic wrap is still lurking inside my guts...
