Woo, yesterday was a pretty good day!
I was invited to shoot with a group from a local studio out in Apple Valley. I haven't shot in a few months because of finishing up school, and my braces have been somewhat of a deterrent. But...I was reassured the coordinator was pleased to have some non-"cookie cutter" models. Also....I think it helped a lot that I'm willing to shoot nude!
It was hot as blazes out..and windy as hell. I'm glad I made it the whole day without passing out or being swept away! Being the sleep deprived idiot I was yesterday, I forgot all my sun protection; parasol, sun screen, etc. so I had to bolt from one patch of shade to the next. All the photographers were great and easy to work with.
I never know if I should be offended or not but I'm always pigeon-holed as the "creepy" model. Sure, I can do weird poses since I'm so flexible. But creepy?! I just don't happen to fit into the beachy look that most of the girls in my area fit into
One thing I'll touch on is the judgmental bullshit I always run into from other models when it comes to nudity. I feel they act so high and mighty because they "just don't do that sort of thing". I never thought I was going to shoot nude (when I was 18/19) until I actually tried it for myself. Now I don't want to keep my clothes on while shooting! I've got so much more freedom of movement and expression. I feel like it also tests you more as a model because you can't relay on clothes to make the shot interesting. Anyways...that's just my two cents..
Here's the first photo I got back from yesterday. Sorry for the censor! It came from Facebook, I know you all wouldn't mind too much. I'll post more as I get em!
P.s. It's really hard to make a graceful face when you've got wind blasting you in the face, the sun scorching your body and the ground destroying your feet. I did my best!

Im pretty sure they are confusing the word "creepy" with the word "awesome"
that's a great shot cant wait to see the rest of them
Either way you are gorgeous, and you should never let what anyone says bring you down.
Words are wind!
