Its about time i got around to doing some blog homework!
This one is "what 5 things would i tell myself 5 years ago?"
Ooo... There is so much i could tell my 18 year old self but what 5 things?? I know!
1). Get out of that relationship now! When i was 16 i had my first boyfriend. He was older and played the guitar and at uni. Needless to say i was hopelessly in love. It was not the fairytale romance. It was a horrible manipulative controlling relationship. I wasn't allowed friends, i wasn't allowed to go out on girls nights out... I was sick, and it made me worse. If i could have told myself that i am a strong woman, i am more than what he tells me i am, i would have had the courage to get rid of him long before i did!
2). Learn to drive!!! The quicker the better! Last year i passed my driving test- it was the best thing i ever did!! I feel like i have all the freedom in the world. As much as i love my little beep beep i can't wait to get another one!
My absolute dream car is an Audi TT... But after actually thinking about things it's a bit of a small car, and i don't think i would be able to fit all my climbing equipment in there 😂 so I'll go for the next option! A little fiat 500 in mint green!
I love this car, its so quirky!
3). Don't give up on being a mermaid! It is a lifetime goal of mine to be a mermaid.Sounds silly i know, but mermaids are beautiful, magical and just the best thing ever! I love make up, hair and nails. Ive given up my long nails for climbing but i loooove long hair. Ive just changed my hair colour (again) and after my tattoo appointment today im going to buy some hair extentions 😄 i will upload some pictures later!
4). Get your bum onto SG NOW!!! I'd always thought about it since i was 17, but never had the courage to do anything about it until i was 20. And im so glad i did. I've met so many lovely ladies and the members here are! One member i will mention is @jezzied ! If you haven't had a chance to talk to him you really should! He was one of my first followers here on SG and has supported me the whole way through my journey and always has such lovely things to say about everyone!
And lasts but not least 5). Continue to work hard! It will all pay off! When i was 18 i was just stumbling around, struggling with my a levels not knowing what i was going to do with my life... And now here i am 5 years later, not only and i a qualified hairstylist but also senior stylist and manager of the salon i work in. Hair is my passion, and i love my job, i love my team and i never wake up thinking oh god i hate ny job! My life right now, everything is going just right. My job, my relationship, my friends- i really couldn't be happier!
On that happy note!! My set Meet Me In The Hayloft has finally reached over 1000 likes!! Me and @valo worked so hard on this set and its finally beginning to pay off! If you're in the UK and you haven't had a chance to shoot with her you really do!!
With every set i shoot i work harder and they just get better and better!!
So to say thank you for all the love- I'll let you have a sneak peek of my next set 'Cerulean Smile' i shot at shootfest last year with @coolicio 😘
It comes out in just over 3 months, and i can't wait for you guys to see it!
