It's been an insanely long time since I've done any blog homework, but when I saw this one I knew I had to write a little something.
I can say with utmost honesty that this year has been the best year of my entire life. All of that is thanks to Suicide Girls.
When I sent in my hopeful application I had NO idea that it would change my life so dramatically. Before SG, I had no friends, no life and no happiness, basically. I had depression and severe anxiety, and life was just hard. Don't get me wrong, I still suffer from them, but it's manageable now.
Since becoming a hopeful (and even more so since becoming a SG), my life has totally changed. For the first time in years I have a lot of really great friends, I travel loads and get to see people all the time, I've had the opportunities to work with some amazing people and I truly am a different, happier person.
Back in September, I was lucky enough to be invited to LA to hang out with the girls and do some shoots. I'm currently sat at LAX airport waiting to board my plane home, and I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who made the trip possible, and to those who made it so special for me. I had the best 3 weeks ever and though I'm sad to be leaving, I'm excited to start doing new and awesome things when I get back home.
So, all in all, thank you Suicide Girls, for changing my life for the better. I'm ridiculously grateful.
