well, i've lost track of days and time again. i'm still not used to having so much time to myself. i officially had a five day vacation and will work two and a half days then have another four off. you have to understand, i don't ever take this much time off EVER.
as most of you know christmas was swell for me. spent some time with the family and a quite evening at home. i attempted to go to the movies but the little city i live in is monopolized by one owner and i don't think he does a good job of selection and show times. one of the biggest movies for christmas release was only showing on one screen and it was sold out...bummer.
as for yesterday, one of my good friends was in from out of town and we got together with other friends and had a grown up girls pajama party we hung out around the kitchen table gossiping like little girls and then we ate and drank sangria and giggled like our yesteryears. we also watched a movie and by the time we hit the sack all of us were so tired but it was truly a slumber party because even though we were all tired we were snickering and talking with one another until eventually we all fell asleep.
so, now it's a couple of days after christmas and the tree looks sad. i absolutely despise taking the tree down but because if looks so sad and depressed i might actually take it down before new years eve. i hate this part of the holiday season.
things i learned over the christmas holiday
1. i will always somehow manage to make christmas happen for the ones i love no matter what
2. i don't really like my extended family, not really.
3. food always tastes better around the holidays.
4. when people talk about spending time with the ones you love it doesn't always mean family.
5. if you're going to go to the movies on christmas day you better get there early.
hmmm i could have sworn that i had at least twenty things to add to my list but have seemed to escaped my memory at this time. feel free to add your own...
and lastly, the next big event is new year's celebration. my friend is moving out of town so she is planing to have a party that night. my plan is to make an appearance and wish her well in her new endeavors. that should only be an hour or so then i plan to go home open a bottle of wine and watch a movie. i will wait to bring in the new year and retire. i see no need to be around people i don't know in their drunken stuper. i would much prefer a nice peaceful night.
so, i like the idea of questions so i'm hoping you all will partake
1. what are your plans for new year's eve?
2. do you make resolutions for the new year?
3. if you made some in the past did you stick to them?
my answers:
1. relaxing with a bottle of wine and a movie
2. i don't usually but this year i am. i have a few major goals i would like to hit.
3. i never really made serious ones so there was no need for a follow through
i hope everyone is doing swwwwwwwwwwwwel......

my weekend was spent chillaxing. watched some movies.
i probably won`t be going out NYE. it`s still too early to tell though...
I dont know my new years plans yet. It's either gonna be go to friends house and hang out with big group of friends like last few years cause i try to avoid the bars that night since cops are everywhere. Or hang out at home with my little cousin whos coming over our house for new years. Im fine with either way. I could use a nice relaxing new years for a change. Especially after last years Got room on that couch and extra glass?
