I started back back at the gym first day after boxing day with my old gym buddy and it is honestly the best feeling to be sore all over after pushing each other to do better.
I tried going to the gym solo when I started a new job just before the initial wave of the pandemic but it never felt the same. Does anyone else get that? Like, I could totally do those lunges but I won't unless someone forces me to 😂.
I also tried going with other people but it just wasn't the same as going with this person. We both have similar goals and desires in life, both want to look and feel good and are both into very similar things. Honestly, if we were the opposite sex or gay it would be the perfect relationship...
Does anyone else have that friend who pushes you further and who you push further too? What do you all do to keep yourself motivated if you work out solo and if you want to work out but never get around to it or feel anxious about going to the gym or something similar, what would help you or motivate you to go?
Also, should this be a blog post or a new thread in the fitness group? Asking for a friend. 👀
